School registration

Registrations will close Friday 26 September, 2025 or as capacity is reached. The earlier you can get your registration in the better.

Please provide an approximation of students that will be attending on the day. We understand this may change. We will need these numbers as class sizes will be capped.

Useful documents for teachers

*Program is subject to change.  All attempts will be made to notify of any changes in advance, although this is not always possible.  Changes may be required on the day due to presenter illness/availability or student registration numbers.

Students to bring

Students should bring the following:

  • Notebook with writing materials or laptop
  • Packed lunch/snacks and drink bottle

* Food vendors on campus will be open on the day and it will be up to teacher's discretion if they allow their student's to purchase.

Getting to the Wollongong campus

The event will be located in Building 29 (Jillian Broadbent building), UOW Wollongong Campus, Northfields Ave, Wollongong.

Date: Friday 7 November 2025 (Term 4, Week 3)

Time: 9:15am-2:30pm

Please aim to arrive for 9am to sign in and get settled.

Teachers are responsible for organising transportation of students to/from the event.

Bus subsidies are available. Reasonable student numbers required for bus subsidies to be enacted. Please contact ofsd-events@uow.edu.au for more information about your school's eligibility.

Bus drop off zone
There is a bus drop-off/pick-up zone outside Building 21 (Discovery Space) with space for multiple buses. Buses must then park off campus until pick-up time. 

Driving 
P3 or P4 are the nearest carparks to the event venue. Please park in the ticket area only and purchase a ticket. Check out Casual Parking prior to your visit. Parking attendants monitor parking and fines may be issued for parking in the incorrect area or not having a valid ticket.
