Year 12 Discovery Days 2026

Get ready to step onto campus and discover what it’s really like to study at the University of Wollongong!

Discovery Days gives you the chance to explore degrees, meet academics and current students, and get a feel for UOW life before you finish Year 12. It’s your first step towards shaping your future and finding your perfect study fit.

Year 12 Discovery Days will be held between Monday 16 and Friday 20 February 2026 at the Wollongong campus.

What is Discovery Days like?

Discovery Days is your opportunity to spend a day at UOW experiencing life as a university student.
Across the week, more than 5,000 Year 12 students from schools across NSW will join us on campus to:

— Attend real university-style classes led by UOW academics.

— Explore study areas that interest you! From business to health, engineering to creative arts.

— Get a feel for campus life, including our world-class facilities, cafes, and student spaces.

— Chat with current UOW students and staff who can answer your questions about Early Admission, scholarships, accommodation, and more.

—Start planning your next steps towards university and your future career.

Whether you’re certain about your path or still exploring, Discovery Days will help you see what’s possible at UOW.
