Hear directly from UOW academics, course coordinators, and current students as they share what it's like to study STEM at university and explore the Bachelor of Secondary Education (STEM). You'll learn how developing deep subject knowledge alongside practical teaching skills can lead to a rewarding career inspiring the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, innovators, and problem-solvers.

We'll also provide information about related Science and Mathematics degree options at UOW, helping you understand the different pathways available and where they can take you.

Then, put your STEM thinking to the test in an engaging hands-on activity designed to challenge your knowledge and showcase how these subjects come to life both at university and in the classroom.

Please note: This event will focus on the STEM majors available within the Bachelor of Secondary Education: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, and Physics. Information will also be available on related Science and Mathematics degree pathways at UOW. This event does not cover Modern History, English, or Health and Physical Education, so keep an eye out for a future Spotlight Night dedicated to those majors.
